I'm glad I found this place, because it's the best BBQ I've had in Tn. The ribs had a light smoke flavor with a awesome glazed bbq sauce. And the loaded potatoes are also the best I've had around. The kitchen staff are very fast and push to get orders out quickly while making such great food.
Also the staff are very attentive and friendly. My now go to spot for bbq. -

Disappointed. With all the great reviews I really had my hopes up of at least an above average meal. Like I said disappointed; people were friendly, I got seated right away and asked my drink needs.
Ordered the Jim Dandy sandwich and fries. Fries were accidentally forgotten, so they came out hot after done with sandwich. The sandwich; well the fried smoked bologna was good, but the pulled pork had no flavor at all. Almost like it was mass produced rather than local in house prepared.
Gave them one last chance and ordered the recommendation of warm apple pie and ice cream; bad mistake. I didn't even finish it and that's not like me. The pie was old and chewy and the ice cream had the freezer nasty taste like it had been in there with other things too long. Expecting the waitress to say something when she saw that I didn't eat hardly any of the desert, but nothing! Maybe I was there on a bad night, every place has one. But I had to share my experience. -

I will start with this my first visit to this restaurant. We were welcomed and everyone there was nice and respectful. We were seated right away. Both the hostess and server were attentive to us. Yes they maid few mistakes in taking our order but fixed them. The food was presented very well. This why they got 2 stars.
The problem come with taste of there food. The appetizers was ok start but was the high point of the dinner. The meat had a chemical taste of smoke. This is in most case this come from newer pellets and industrial smokers. The rub on the ribs and pork BBQ had no BBQ taste. The house BBQ sauce taste more like vinegar then BBQ sauce. The potato salad and beans taste like one you buy from a restaurant supplier then homemade.
I see this as place for people that want no flavor in there food. -

Overall, we were very impressed. The ribs were very good, I kept feeling a little SC in the sauce. The baked beans aren't my favorite. They're like a Asian or Southwestern style, some may enjoy them, I personally did not. The drinks were decent. It wasn't Memphis BBQ, but it was still great! I think they can get to that level in time. I'll definitely be back.

I couldn't figure out what I wanted so Marcus our server settled that issue with their combo platter. I sampled their brisket and ribs along with some mac & cheese and vinegar slaw. Everything I got was exceptional and I poured on their hot BBQ sauce liberally on everything. Our orders came quickly and the staff was outgoing! You'll be seeing me here more often!
